Services for hosted people
This is the service you can get if you subscribe on TuxFamily. Of course, you need to have an open-source related project to get those services.
- Web hosting (PHP4 and PHP5 are supported)
- MySQL and PostgreSQL databases hosting
- CVS repositories

- Mailing-lists
- Handle of your domain (DNS hosting)
- Popboxes and mail-forward for your domain
- Download area of 1 GB, can be increased if you need more space
- Quota of 100 MB for all groups, not including download area, can be increased if you need more space
- Handling of your data through FTP, FTPS (FTP over SSL), SSH and SFTP

The games : games.tuxfamily.net
TuxFamily.org has a games services, called games.tuxfamily.net. It's a meeting point for people who play free games on the Internet. All well-known free games are available, you can have some statistics on the main page.
IRC server : irc.tuxfamily.org
TuxFamily.org provides a free irc-server (irc.tuxfamily.org). You can use it for your projects if you want.
NTP server : ntp.tuxfamily.net
We provide a free ntp server. You can use it for personal stuff, there is no restriction for the use of this service.

TuxFamily staff
The staff is composed of administrators and moderators. We are all voluntaries.
Administrators
They maintain all hosting services, they develop and provide new services if needed, and decide about the TuxFamily communication, position and future.
Sylvain Rochet aka gradator
Sylvain joined TuxFamily in 2004, he is currently the chairman of
the TuxFamily.org organization and still the main system administrator.
He manages the TuxFamily staff, maintains the services night and day, and answers
to a lot of the requests sent by our users.
Florent Bayle aka florent
Florent is currently an administrator of the hosting system.
He is a member of the administration committee and takes part in decisions.
He joined TuxFamily in 2005 and still does technical tasks every day on the platform.
Samuel Lesueur aka crafty
Samuel joined the TuxFamily crew in October 2006. Member of the administration committee and administrator of the hosting system, he attends to keep it up and running with the other administrators. Samuel is currently the vice-president of the TuxFamily.org association.
Gwenael Pellen aka gwenael
Gwenael joined the administrator team on April 2006. G33k and n3rd, he answers the phone and makes coffee.
Moderators
They decide if projects can be accepted or not. They take decisions for TuxFamily, so please be nice with them :-)
